Welcome to a Journey of Love & Understanding – Let’s Talk Love Languages π
Hey beautiful soul! I’m Tanya – a mama of three, a passionate teacher, and the heart behind LuckyOwl Inspire Her Marketing. Whether I'm empowering women to shine online or helping my students feel seen and heard in the classroom, I live for those lightbulb moments—the ones where connection and confidence meet.
Over the next few months, I’m diving deep into something that touches every relationship we have—whether it’s with our partner, our kids, our coworkers, or ourselves: The 5 Love Languages. And I want you to come along for the ride with me.
So, what are the 5 Love Languages? If you’ve never heard of them (or need a refresher), here’s the scoop:
β¨ Words of Affirmation – You feel most loved when someone tells you how much they care. Compliments, kind words, sweet texts... they mean the world.
β¨ Acts of Service – Love looks like someone doing the dishes, folding the laundry, or picking up your favorite coffee without being asked.
β¨ Receiving Gifts – It’s not about money—it’s about thoughtfulness. A simple note or a tiny “I saw this and thought of you” can fill your heart.
β¨ Quality Time – You feel closest to people when they give you their full attention. Deep talks, phone-free dinners, or just being present together matters most.
β¨ Physical Touch – A hug, a hand on your back, or a cozy snuggle—touch is how you feel connected.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be exploring how these languages show up not only in our adult relationships, but also in the way we parent, teach, and support the people we love—especially our teens and little ones.
This is going to be fun, eye-opening, and maybe even a little healing. π Whether you’re looking to reignite connection in your relationship, better understand your children, or grow in self-love, there will be something here for you.
So grab a cozy drink, bookmark the blog, and join me as we uncover how to speak love in the ways that matter most.
With love & light,
Tanya
